After months of planning, we're finally starting our trip! First stop is Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We're staying with some friends, Rocky and Joske Malloy. We pulled into their house after midnight on Tuesday. Apparently we offended them in some way as they took off for 3 weeks the next day. We must not have offended them too much because they left their maid/cook and house helper who fixes anything that goes wrong with the house.
Their house is unlike any I have ever been in before with a living room that has 25' high glass semi circle wall. This is Bolivia???
Today we spent planning how we can best maximize our time in Bolivia. The reason we are here is to see first hand the work that Rocky and Joske and their team at Mission Generation is doing with a Bible based education in the schools of Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile and the rest of Latin America.
Our kids love it as the Malloys have 3 of their kids who are here while their parents are in the States...also their house is right next to a jungle with howler monkeys and tropical birds.
