Half way done before anyone starts at Oso Grande

Katie is cracking the whip and getting the kids rocking on their schoolwork. Jake is half way done with math for the year and Lucy is half way done...with one page of math. Figures she would have to take after me. Seriously, all of the kids are taking full advantage of the Malloy kids going to school and getting tons done. Depending on the subject, the kids are anywhere between 25%-50% on their school work. I am amazed at how fast they are motoring.
We are stoked on the progress the kids are making and the good attitudes they have exhibited. Fortunately there have been no repeat performances of what it was like when I was a child and my mom would tutor me and my brothers in math. Perhaps we can get an experience or two when mom and dad join up in Australia? Here is to hoping.
Some of the fun during these days have been swimming in the neighbors pool (when they are not home), eating worms, hitting the park, a rock star tour of the zoo and of course, Blancas cooking.

The kids made a big "food fair" for all the neighbors and created an even bigger mess

the kids found "edible" worms inside of coconuts
